Study visit to Slovakia
The study visit to Slovakia, into the project "Implementation of waste management policy in Serbia” will be realized in the period January 26 – 28th 2011, with the aim of interviewing the relevant representatives of Slovak institutions involved in waste management policy.
The aim of the project "Implementation of waste management policy in Serbia” is the development of sustainable and effective waste management policy in Serbia, which is consistent with contemporary standards of the EU in this particular policy area.
Research that is being implemented under the project will be based on the experiences and best practices of Slovakia and the EU, and will be in the form of the policy paper in this field. The aim of the final document is to initiate an open discussion on the problem of implementing waste management policy in Serbia.
