"Strengthening Capacities of Serbian Administration for the EU Integration" Certificate Award Ceremony

Centre for European Integration Belgrade Open School and the European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia organised a certificate award ceremony for the participants of "Strengthening Capacities of Serbian Administration for the EU Integration" project. Ceremony was held on May 11th 2011 in the premises of Stari Grad municipal hall. Attendants were greeted by H.E. Nils Ragnar Kamsvĺg, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Serbia, Ms Ivana Djuric, Head of Section for Communications and Training, European Integration Office, and Ms Vesna Djukic, General Director of Belgrade Open School.


Project "Strengthening Capacities of Serbian Administration for the EU Integration" was realised by Belgrade Open School and the European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia in the period December 2008 - June 2010. Partner on the project was European Competence Ltd. Programme was attended by 360 participants, representatives of local, regional and national government, public companies, development agencies and other institutions and bodies of Government of the Republic of Serbia.  


Project's goal was to strengthen local, regional and national administration of Serbia for a successful implementation of the EU policies in the process of European integration.


Project consisted of 5 educational programmes that offered advanced skills and knowledge regarding institutional character of the EU, the EU legal system and policy writing, as the most prominent areas of the EU sectoral policies with the emphasis on policies of regional and local importance.
