BOS participation at the meeting of SCTM Commissioners

More than 60 of the Commissioners of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), representatives of cities and member municipalities of the organization, participated in a three-day meeting organized by the Advisory Centre SCTM in the period February 27th – 29th 2012 in Palic.

 On the first day of meeting, programs and projects conducted by the SCTM were presented as well as other project partners and donor organizations cooperating with the SCTM. Mirko Popovic, in front of the Belgrade Open School (BOS), presented the main activities and objectives of this NGO with a focus on promoting and strengthening inter-sectoral partnerships in developing and implementing public policy in the European integration process.

The other two days were scheduled for training of SCTM Commissioners on topics „Attracting investments” and “Communication between citizens and local government through social networks, improvement of the visual identity and graphic communications” in order to strengthen communication with citizens, tourists and investors.
