The second capacity building program for civil society organizations was held in Ivanjica
The capacity building program within “Know How to Act” project was held in “Park” hotel in Ivanjica, in period of 10th to 14th December 2012.
Five day training was aiming to improve capacities of civil society organizations representatives in order to get them more actively and more qualitative engaged in programming and monitoring the process of using public environmental funds. The training was attended by 21 representatives of civil society organizations working in environmental protection area from Moravica, Pomorava, Rasina and Sumadija district.
The experts with a long-year experience in creating policy papers and public advocacy in environmental protection and energy area from Serbia and region, as well, were holding lectures. The applied concept of training has consisted of lectures and practical work.
Focus was put on introducing the role of civil society in environmental protection and energy area and therefore, also on improving skills of civil society representatives in formulating policy papers and public advocacy.
Project is being implemented by European Movement in Serbia in partnership with Belgrade Open School, Centre for civil society development PROTECTA from Nis and UNECOOP organization from Paracin, and financially supported by Royal Embassy of Norway in Belgrade within civil society development programme in Serbia.
