The implementation of „Development for Real: Evaluating Development Impact and Performances of Regional Development Agencies in Serbia“ Project has started

On 1st of May 2013 Centre for European Integration of Belgrade Open School has started with the implementation of research project „Development for Real: Evaluating Development Impact and Performances of Regional Development Agencies in Serbia“. The Project is dealing with the research of the accredited regional development agencies (RDAs) in Republic of Serbia from the stakeholders’ point of view.

The main problem this Project is dealing with is a problem of relation between the stakeholders and accredited RDAs in Republic of Serbia regarding RDAs’ performances and development impact. The Project stakeholders are the RDAs’ shareholders, as well as direct and indirect beneficiaries of RDAs’ services (representatives of accredited RDAs, local self-governments, companies, civil society organizations and regional chambers of commerce).

First part of the Project is a research of stakeholders’ perception of accredited RDAs’ performances, as well as analysis of documents on local, regional and national level related to RDAs’ activities.

Second part of the Project is actually dissemination and presentation of research findings to the stakeholders. This process is going to give an opportunity to the stakeholders to give their suggestions and comments on presented results to the members of professional team of Centre for European Integration of Belgrade Open School. In this way, the policy study, as an overall product of the Project, will be containing relevant data on research topic.

The Project is supported by the European Fund for Balkans within their “Think & Link” Regional Policy Programme.
