The representatives of Belgrade Open School have participated on European Fund for Balkans capacity building seminar in Budva
In period from 10th to 12th of May 2013, first capacity building seminar designed for researchers of organizations granted within this year “Think & Link” Regional Policy Programme of European Fund for the Balkans was held. Capacity building seminar was taking place in “Queen of Montenegro” hotel in Becici, Mjnicipality of Budva, Republic of Montenegro.
Seminar was organized by the European Fund for the Balkans, jointly with their partners, Robert Bosch Foundation, King Baudouin Foundation, San Paolo Foundation and “Erste” Foundation. Belgrade Open School were presented at this Seminar by Slobodan Ocokoljic and Vanja Dolapcev, research associates and project assistants in Centre for European Integration with their project “Development for Real: Evaluating Development Impact and Performances of Regional Development Agencies in Serbia”.
During the first day of Seminar the topics such as European Union (EU) – Western Balkans countries relations, cooperation of government bodies with think tanks on Western Balkans and economic crisis in the EU and its consequences for Western Balkans countries.
During the second and third day of Seminar the training of participants on designing and planning a research process was held. The training was implemented by experienced trainers, representatives of International Centre for Policy Advocacy from Berlin, Federal republic of Germany. At the end of the Seminar, the participants had an opportunity to exchange their experiences and to give their comments in order to improve their project proposal.
Final seminar where the research findings of projects implemented by this year beneficiaries of “Think & Link” Regional Policy Programme should be presented, is going to be held at the end of the year.
