Publication: Good Governance and Transparency in the Energy Sector at the Local Level

The participatory approach in planning and implementation of energy policy, which is manifested through the availability of information on production and consumption of energy - energy transparency, early public involvement in decision-making and decision-making that is based on the choice between more realistic options is a logical sequence of steps and a way to respond to the challenges in the energy sector at the local level. The initiative launched by the Belgrade Open School and the Heinrich Boll Foundation, which results in a publication entitled "Transparency of energy decision-making at the local level," we aim to influence a change in energy policy-making cycle and thus contribute to reducing energy poverty and the achievement of European standards in the area of environmental protection.
