Towards a new legislative policy of the Republic of Serbia - strengthening the capacity of parliamentary committees for a more efficient and accountable legislative policy 

 

Pilot project "Towards a new legislative policy of the Republic of Serbia - Strengthening the capacity of parliamentary committees for more efficient and accountable legislative process" had gather 20 representatives of the parliamentary committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia

Within two days of consultations deputies, secretaries and committee members of the Serbian Parliament had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the content of the laws which, according to the National Plan for Integration of Serbia, will soon enter into the parliamentary procedure and should be adopted by year's end. Deputies, secretaries and members of parliamentary committees had an opportunity for a very constructive debate with representatives of relevant ministries that have participated in drafting laws and independent experts in a given field and have come to common conclusions on further improving the existing law.
