Activities

Career Guidance and Counselling Centre implements its activities through two complementary program segments: Program of career guidance and counselling and Program for connecting education and business sectors.

Activities that are implementing through projects within Program of career guidance and counselling are following:

• Development of strategic documents (models, policies, strategies);
• Supporting institutions in the further development of system and practice of career guidance and counselling;
• Development and promotion of usage of innovative techniques/tools for career guidance and counselling;
• Capacity building of career guidance and counselling practitioners, youth workers, as well as individuals through organization of trainings and seminars;
• Career informing of young people and their parents;
• Individual and group career counselling of young people;
• Online career counselling and informing of young people through BOS Karijera portal;
• Research in the field of career guidance and counselling;
• Issuing publications in the field of career guidance and counselling;

Activities that are implementing through projects within Program for connecting education and business sectors are following:

• Development of strategic documents (models, policies, strategies);
• Organization of hands-on and professional internships, mentorships, job shadowing visits and other forms of connecting with employers;
• Establishing a network of stakeholders, linking employers, representatives of education, employment, youth policy actors;
• Monitoring of potential, needs and cooperation between the educational system and labour market;
• Support to young people during employment, self-employment and entrepreneurial ventures;
• Promotion of promising jobs, entrepreneurship and good practice examples.
